I bought these to replace plastic lids on 5 gallon deer feeders. Squirrels were chewing through the plastic ones. These have proven to be a good solution.

lids work good I"m using the bucket as container to take mill scale off of hot rolled steel with vinegar and when I"m done with it I seal the bucket up

It’s a bit expensive for what it is but if you have problems with animals getting into your buckets because they want the food that’s inside this is the perfect option. I had raccoons getting in some dog food and after putting it on they could never opened it up again.

Lid fits on nice and tight. I cut a whole in the lid and attached a Dust Deputy the lid holds on airtight.

Made a cyclone shop vac system out of this. The lid and bucket are very sturdy and the seal is air tight. Solid items.
