Make sure you get the right cv axles for your engine trans combo. Each combo on the mk4 Jetta has different axles. These are for the 24v VR6 6spd. Several companies on Amazon lump several models together and don’t specify which engine and trans they go to. Our last set were wrong even though the seller said they fit. The driver side cv after a year of use broke and put a hole in the 6spd case. This is important because the axle flanges for the 5spd and 6spd are different sizes. So the axle may “fit” but they don’t seat properly and will loosen over time. We had to replace the 6spd. These fit perfectly.
