I got this and it's a very handy tool. This one seems a bit bigger around than the ones I've had in the past allowing for the insertion of bigger worms into the tube. The rings fit the worm securely and holds the worm to the hook without tearing the worm so the bait lasts longer. The top of the tool screws off to allow you to refill it. And it comes with a lanyard and carabiner so you can put it in a place that is handy to get too. I really enjoy this style of fishing and this tool will help with bait preservation. I'm super happy with it.

This Wacky Rig Tool is typical of many others. It is fully functional. The O-rings are sized to easily fit both 4" and 5" Senkos. With a little bit of effort, it will even allow an O-ring to be placed on a larger bait such as a 6" Z Man Giant TRD (although a larger O-ring will be required). It can also be used for Neko rigs. However, it comes with just 10 O-rings. There are other options in this price range which offer many, many more rings. This is a good quality wacky rig tool, but I don't think it's a great value at its current price.

I mostly wade creeks so I prefer a pretty minimalist tackle setup. The less I have to do when changing baits the better. This is a handy tool to have at home for assembly lining a pack of senkos with o-rings. Couldn't be a more simple or straightforward process. Definitely not a critical piece of gear, and you could probably jerry rig something close with stuff lying around the house, but it's cheap and useful enough for anyone who uses a wacky rig as their go-to presentation.

This tool is absolutely the key to making it easy to put an O-ring on a worm or any other plastic bait. You just slide the worm into the tube and slip the O-ring off the end of the tube onto the worm. This same procedure works great when putting things like grubs or Ned rigs on a jig head as well. The O-ring if positioned properly really helps the bait holder on the jig head keep the bait in place which makes your plastic last longer. If you're going to use a wacky rig this tool is indispensable!
