I have a 1994 grand cherokee i'm building on my youtube channel. you can find that at A Guy And His Projects. I put in a new coolant reserviour which had a cap in place of this sensor. My jeep doesn't have an electrical hookup for this sensor so all I needed was the cap. I could not find one however so bought the sensor. Not sure on reliability of how it works as I don't have it electronically hooked up but I can say it fit in the reservoir perfectly.

Installed on a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ. After testing the VIC and Testing good I replaced the sensor. Normally the solder joints in the VIC crack and go bad resulting in this error. After replacing the sensor in the coolant recovery tank the error went away.
