This umbrella certainly has an interesting concept of folding up inside-out in order to not wet the person folding it.This particular umbrella, however, has an extremely powerful mechanism that can be rather dangerous if you're not careful. When the button is pushed, of course, the umbrella opens. This model, however, opens with such a loud "bang" and an explosive force that anyone standing around has to really watch out! The same goes for folding It up. This thing has power behind it. A bit too much power than needed for an ordinary rain umbrella, if you ask me.Once opened, however, this handsome black umbrella is wide enough to cover 2 people. It seems sturdy, although I've never been caught in a very strong wind with it yet. I'm just very concerned about that wildly powerful mechanism and the possibly of someone getting hurt while opening it - especially if there are small children or elderly folks present. The sound alone could frighten them out of their wits.

As advertised, this is a light and compact foldable umbrella but it's quality doesn't feel light. Feels well made and should hold well for quite sometime. The real rest would come on a windy day which I haven't encountered yet.In it's open state, its span is ~41" and the pole extends to about 2 feet. This is good enough for one person or squeeze in two lean individuals. The one-hand operation to open and close is convenient, especially when you want to get in or out of a car on a rainy day. The inverted design during close also helps avoid the water splattering on your face.Happy so far. Good value for money

Had to pull this out a couple times when it started pouring, and it feels sturdier than the little ones I usually keep in my bag. It pops open quick and handled wind better than I thought it would, especially during a walk back from the train. I like that it folds in on itself, so I’m not getting everything wet when I hop in the car. It’s a bit smaller than I expected, but that kind of worked out since it fits in my bag without taking up too much space. The one press close is really helpful when my hands are full. So far, it’s been doing what I need.

We used this in Seattle and the wind and rain was fighting us and this never flipped inside out. I didn't believe it was going to stand up to what it claims but it does! Its really great. It blocks out the sun and is light weight. Its not heavy and it fits inside of the backpack and Inside of the pocket on the side of my bag. If you have to carry it by hand, it wont tire you out. Its sleek and not loud. It's mine but Its my husband new favorite umbrella, he keeps stealing it.

This umbrella keeps the rain out as well as any umbrella I've used but the neat feature is that it can fold in reverse when closing, which helps keep the water contained instead of dripping down towards you. This is great when you're getting into your car while it's raining outside to keep the interior dry. The handle is a little small but serviceable. The button to deploy and retract the umbrella works just fine. I'm not sure what exactly is windproof about this since it doesn't have vents, so don't expect that you'll have any easier time in high winds than with your average umbrella.
