This is an interesting little adapter and does open up your options for installing SSDs into the E keyed slots on the board or even PCI-e cards that use wifi cards instead of soldered on wifi cards. You know the kind I'm talking about.Anyway, since it's E-keyed, that means you get to have NVMe access for SSDs since they're essentially PCIe devices and this should work for these sort of SSDs. You'll also want to check for support of SSDs but in theory just about all the NVMes should be supported.

This is a handy adapter to make use of your WiFi/BT slot if you don't need wireless, especially if you don't require the full speed of all four lanes and can make due with two. The only thing to note is that this is a very common adapter and is usually available for $5.
