I replaced an older wireless HDMI adapter that had a washed out picture when used. This one carries the picture beautifully. I’m feeding a projector that does not have 4K, so it’s feeding at 1080P. The source, either Blu ray, or Roku feeds to a surround receiver HDMI, and the output feeds the extender, so low latency is important. The latency is so low that I can’t see an issue with lip sync. I have taken a star out because it is slow to lock up and connect, and if I need to do any adjustments in my audio receiver, it loses the lock, and once again takes time to reconnect. Sometimes I want to just make a quick adjustment and have to pause the video to give it time to reconnect. It can take 30 seconds to sometimes over a minute to reconnect. Once I’m into a movie or show, it stays locked and looks great. So don’t not order this because of that. Just being honest and had to take the star off.

This HDMI Wireless solution is Easy. Take these two cables and plug them into your computer and your monitor and they automatically connect after plugging in the USB-A end to a power supply. If you do it wrong the monitor screen will show how to hook it up. There is a QR code to give you a website for instructions. If you do it right, it just works.I have them in my studio so I can hook up my MacBook Air to my Blackmagic ATEM Mini Extreme as one of the inputs. Video and audio are available. It works.

These are nice and they do work however they do get laggy. At first I thought it was my computer because I do have to use a hdmi to display adapter so I tested it with my laptop and still the same issue every maybe 15 minutes it glitches and gets laggy.I was hoping to move away from my chromecast as it sometimes limits what I can cast but unfortunately this is not the answer. And I'm just trying to use them across the living room, maybe 10 feet away. The video and audio quality is great and it was extremely easy to set up, just plug them in and boom there ya go. However the almost constant lag every almost 10 minutes got to be annoying quickly.

Item:Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver 4K, ANGEET 1080P@120Hz Streaming Media Video/Audio Wireless HDMI Extender 5G from Laptop, PC, TV Box to Monitor, HDTV, 165FT/50M Wireless HDMI TransmissionPackaging:Packaging was ok. The items were boxed in what amounts to a product box but protection is minimal. The up side is that the box is so small that its almost guaranteed that Amazon will rebox it in another shipping box which will give it a little more protection. In this case, I would say risk of shipping damage is low.Material Quality:The devices are made of plastic mostly with metal connectors of course.Assembly/Build Quality:The devices (transmitter and receiver) seem well made and feel pretty solid. The HDMI cable is pretty robust as well, but very short.Marketing Material:The images represent the item well and there are no signs of misrepresentation. You need to pay attention to the refresh rates supported as it scales down as the resolution scales up. The base is 1080p@120hz with 4k dropping to 30 hz. Is this important in the grand scheme? Only if you are a 4K snob. Otherwise the image quality is just fine.Functionality:This devices are actually quite easy and simple to work. Just plug in the HDMI cables and the USB power and everything works with no fuss. The transmitter and receiver have to pair and if they lose their paring they can be reset. Honestly, the device works very well with little to no setup needed; however, the only issue I have is that I thought they had an internal battery and you had to charge them up when they run low. I am not sure why I thought this as it was never stated in the product listing that this is how they worked. I guess I just assumed. My mistake. The reason I point this out is because you actually need to plug them in to a power source. This is fine on the end where you are connecting to your laptop or desktop. Not so easy on the end you are connecting to the monitor you want to stream to. First, the HDMI portion of the device (the cable) is very short, maybe about 3-4 inches. Second, the USB power cable is also short, maybe about 2-3 feet. If you do not have a handy USB power source near the monitor then you are going to start having to figure out how you will power that device. Not the end of the world, but it can still be a pain if there is no readily available power source nearby. Lastly, there are a lot of reviews complaining about 4K. I’m sorry but you don’t need to see ebay, craigslist or whatever webpage in 4k. You don’t (normally) need to give a presentation in 4K. There are a lot of things you just done typically need to view in 4K. If you are that big of a 4K snob, or you just have to have 4K then you probably need to run a cable or pony up the dough for a professional multimedia setup. This is not the solution for you. If you are just one of the many others who just want easy streaming then this will perfectly suit your needs.Price:This item is listed (at the time of this review) for $99.99. This price seems to be in line with other similar products and I do not have any issue with it.Likes:I like the solid build of the devices. It makes you feel like they will last for a while.Dislikes:I wish it had a better solution for powering the devices, but I do understand that there are limits.Overall:I would definitely recommend this item if you are looking for a portable and simply way to stream video. IT just works and you don’t need to adjust any settings or anything to make it work. The price is ok, I have seen lower but I have also seen a lot higher so it is what it is. When it comes to video quality, get it for what it is, not what you want it to be, and you cant go wrong.

And not sure why. I use an Oppo bluray player to transform HDMI to 1080i for my older (but still great) Sony projector, and then convert that to wireless across about 20 feet to the ceiling where it's mounted. For whatever reason, this system seemed to have problems with this setup, and when it worked, it was a bit fuzzier a picture than other (more expensive) wireless adaptors. But I suspect that is 90% my environment, and not a fault of the product. Unfortunately, I have no other way to test it, so make of that what you will.I can't complaing about either the hardware or software (such as it is) of this kit, which appears very similar to others like it on the market. If you need wireless video conferencing, or maybe for outdoor movies, this should be a good solution, but is does not quite work so well on my setup.
