Works out of the box, very nice. No software or adapter needed. Gets a little warm when used.Be sure to plug the correct one to the receiver, they are not interchangeable.

This product works WAY better than the wireless HDMI I had previously - wish I had bought this one to begin with! Plenty of range to an outside TV, connection fast and stable, no issues at all so far. Highly recommended!

This worked pretty good until the build quality got in the way.Basically I was using this to power a TV from a DVR.We eventually replaced the DVR and hat to remove the cable. After that, the receiver stopped working.I thought it might have been a 5v power issue but after testing, I opened the USB housing and noticed how poorly the unit was built. The connection pad on the board came completely off.Kinda sucky for a $100 purchase.

Worked well when I wanted mirror my laptop onto a larger tv screen. Just plugged one into an hdmi port and a powered usb port on my laptop, then plugged another to an hdmi port and powered usb port on a television. Just a couple of seconds after both are powered up do they connect and the screens are mirrored. There is the very slightest of lag between the screens but not enough to be a bother unless you were trying to do some competitive gaming which this isn't what its really for. When used for long duration or lots of movement on screen, you might see some blurred spots here or there but they fix themselves too as the picture changes. Not really made for an all day every day use, but great for showing reports for meetings, or pictures and video at family/friends events.
