I love this adapter! I keep it in my travel backpack for all my work trips or vacations. Easy to hook one end up to a TV and have my laptop wherever I want it. Setup is super easy, it's literally just plug and play. Picture quality and response time is great. There is a small lag time, maybe 30ms, but unless you're a competitive gamer, you won't notice that at all. Range is also fantastic. The furthest I've used it is about 80 feet and it didn't complain at all about that. Sound quality is also great - stereo sound transmits perfectly. I'm not sure if surround sound is supported here, but I haven't had the opportunity to test that. This is awesome! One of my favorite things in my backpack.

This HDMI set was a game changer here at the office. We all have to give monthly reports as a group at work. With 10+ of us on different laptops, presentation on the big screen was a challenge. Now we simply pass the transmitter around and take turns. We now have 4k presentations instead of trying to cast over and over. These work perfectly and were plug and play n Windows 11. The picture quality is amazing, the sound is spot on with no lag.

ALL- LUCKY's Wireless HDMI Transmitter & Receiver Kit escalates the wireless game. This is an import knockoff of a bigger brand but at a fraction of the cost. While I experienced a few small jumps and slight lag once or twice, resetting my router seems to have eliminated that entirely so it seems to be more of a wifi issue than an issue with the sticks themselves. They are small and having the L-connection is a huge space saver for wall-mounted devices. It's easy to use, sets up fast and easy and connects without issue. The best feature is the heat-dissipation which seems to work similar to how M2 dissipation works. It keeps it light warm instead of hot.

The HDMI transmitter (TX) to receiver (RX) worked perfectly AFTER I manually paired the units. They were supposed to be plug-and-play and already paired at the factory. They appear to not have been paired when received. The Instruction Manual has instructions for “pairing”, “re-pairing” and “resetting to factory condition”. There is a tiny button near the power USB-C port – hard to press without slipping off (you must hold down for 3, 5 or 10 seconds for different functions) – had to use my fingernail to hold it down. (See Notes below for how I finally got the units to pair and function.)The components are high-quality. You get an extension HDMI cable, an HDMI mini converter, an HDMI micro converter, two USB A-C power cables (needs 5V/2A+) and a very nice storage case. The picture quality and sound were perfect – no distortion or lagging or sound distortion. The RX image produced is 1080P. The feature I really appreciated was the swivel HDMI plug, which allowed me to plug it into my TV HDMI port without having to remove lower HDMI cables – the power cord is on the side and would have been blocked by other HDMI cables requiring their removal to use it. I am pleased with the performance of this HDMI TX/RX set.TESTING:--- First test in the same room laptop to TV – distance about 12 feet unobstructed. Worked fine. Rated for 30M or about 150FT unobstructed.--- Second test was putting the RX unit on the kitchen TV about 40 feet away and through 3 walls and a full kitchen cupboard. Rated for 10M or about 30FT obstructed. Worked fine – no wall interference, lag or sound distortion noticed.NOTES:--- Push the power USB-C cables in until they click, otherwise they might fall out.--- The units get warm – normal. I tested them for 5 hours of YOUTUBE videos.--- Usage procedure: First plug in RX then RX power then TX then TX power. It is supposed to auto-connect within a few seconds. I waited 10 minutes – no connection. Unplugged both units and retried – no connection.--- Followed the “re-pairing” procedure by long-pressing the reset buttons as specified – no connection.--- Followed the “factory reset” instructions on both units – no connection. Units still plugged in.--- Got creative: Did the “factory reset” then the “re-pair” then unplugged both RX and TX. Plugged them in and success – auto-CONNECTION. Laptop screen began mirroring in about 15 seconds. I unplugged both RX/TX, then RX only, then TX only and the units auto-connected each time – the pairing was not lost. (I suspect that the first re-pairing would have worked if I had unplugged the units after the procedure and then re-plugged them in.)--- When the RX and TX connect, the monitor screen will briefly reflect the WIFI SSID and password (see pic).
