This candle holder is a very thoughtful sympathy gift, and a perfect way to honor loved ones who have passed on. Unfortunately the script is very hard to read. I have good vision overall, and do not require reading glasses. This script is legible when magnified on your phone or computer, but is very hard to discern with the naked eye. Of course it's the thought that counts, but it would mean even more if this were easier to read.I like the idea of the battery-operated candle, but personally prefer the intimacy and warmth of a tea light. I just think it's more appropriate and meaningful in light of its purpose. It's a way to brighten the mood on a gloomy day when your memories might be dragging you down a bit.This would make a lovely gift to those in bereavement. It is beautifully packaged, with a nice box that's ready for gifting. I recommend it.

This is a lovely little memorial gift for someone who has recently experienced a loss. It's well made and more unique than your average tealight holder.

This is a very nice tealight holder. I love the way the large heart cutout lines up with a smaller cutout in back, it gives it a unique and very sweet look. It came with a battery operated candle but I don't use it. It's a nice thought, but isn't a color I like and it's too tall so it blocks the back heart. Instead I use a tealight which sits perfectly below the edge. It gives off a perfect warm glow and looks very soothing.The words written on the bottom are a bit hard to read, but it doesn't really detract from the overall look. In fact in a way it's better because it's not distracting. It's very well made without any flaws that I've seen. I got it in honor of my father who recently passed, I think he would have liked it too.
