We were planing to repaint several rooms in our house and needed a way to reach the ceiling better. We have ladders but you have to lean to reach or keep moving the ladder every few feet. I found this adjustable platform and thought it would be the perfect solution.It arrived quickly and we put it to use the next day. It’s perfect! It’s sturdy but fairly lightweight. When folded it’s compact. The feet are rubbery so it doesn’t slide around or mark up hardwood floors. On the lowest setting it feels very stable and secure to stand on. When at the highest setting it is a bit wobbly but we never needed to raise it that high. I plan to use it this summer to wash the RV since it’s difficult to reach the roofline.I’m happy with my purchase and would consider buying a second one.

I love this step stool. Im short, so I am constantly using chairs to do simple tasks. I cane across this item and decided to give it a shot. Glad i did. This step stool is sturdy and has a good area to walk side . Its also very compact easy to carry.

I like this. It’s pretty sturdy, sets up intuitively, collapses intuitively, and packs up pretty small. 500 lb weight limit? Maybe—I’m about 220 and felt perfectly stable on it. The build quality seems pretty good, and I would definitely have bought something like this if I had a project where I needed just an extra 1 to 2 feet instead of picking up my ladder every five minutes to move along the wall. I see this mostly as a painting tool, but I suppose the sky’s the limit—you could even use it for exercise steps.

Excellent workbench. It's not too heavy and adjusts easily. It's strong and I odnt have to worry about it collapsing and should last for a long time.

I was skeptical of the 500 pounds. I have not tested at 500 pounds, but I tested it with my 6'2 frame and there is zero give in the middle. Feels super solid. And the form factor is fantastic. It folds up into a super small footprint with a large and comfortable carrying handle. I put it on a garage shelf on it's side and it fit like a large book - taking up nearly no room at all. This is definitely a keeper. I already sent the link to my do-it-yourselfer friends letting them know I would highly recommend this. It would easily fit into a car or work van, and I could definitely see this used for things like a portable workbench, a side table at a BBQ, etc. It's rare that I recommend a product, but this is one I can definitely recommend. I can't say enough good things about the folding form factor, the adjustability, and how compact and easy to carry it is.

I got this ladder to help with a painting project for a couple of the rooms in our house. I thought it might do better than having to get up and down off a ladder or step ladder very often. The best part of it is the size of the platform allows you to move from side to side and cover much more wall before you have to reposition it. Being aluminum its very light yet feels very strong and sturdy. It did not flex at all when I stood right in the middle of it. It's also great in that it folds up very small when it's time to put it away. I did not adjust the height, but I do see that as a good feature when needed. Overall, a good choice for the DIYer.

I never knew I needed one of these until someone at the home I am remodeling had one that I used. I would never not have one again.
