My use case is for hotel traveling. If you’re using this backpacking skip what I’m about to say. If you search for suction hooks (plastic that go in bathrooms) they work better for hanging wet stuffs (like bathing suits) inside a shower where they can drip dry. This line requires figuring out how to attach the ends which was challenging to find a good location that wasn’t in the way.

I used this multiple times on a two week trip when I did laundry in my room. It was fun to get creative with places to hang it. I never hung anything heavier than a merino wool t-shirt, but it was perfect and held everything I put on it. Especially great for socks and underwear!

I bought one of these in 2012, now that it's 2019 I finally had to get a new one. This got A LOT of use hanging my sink laundry in countless hotel bathrooms. After all those years the latex held up. Not up until recently had it's grip finally stretch out. if you fly carryon/onebag then you are likely hand washing your clothes in sink/tub and hang drying. This handy cord should be an important part of your travel aresenal. A carbiner or other similar clamp will have you attatching this wherever. It's great you don't need to bring clothes pins or extra clips, just hang your socks, t shirts and underwear in the notches. Be warned, only hang light clotes on here. pants and heavier shirts and shorts will tax the line.

As described and seems to function well. The braided surgical rubber is definitely the way to go. I've tried the twisted elastic ones before, and you need a LOT of tension on the line to secure anything in the twists without pegs (which somewhat defeats the purpose). Would like if it came with a carabiner/some attachment to assist in anchoring it when there are no convenient hooks/knobs.

This goes with me on any trip and ends up being used each time. Easy to hook it to various things. The gripping strength is great and prevents clothes from blowing away in the wind. Not needed clothes pins is also nice!!

Used this several times on trips to provide a clothesline. A couple 4-6" bungee cords make it simple to attach it to things or you can loop it in on itself. Great light weight and compact solution.

I'd never done my laundry in a hotel bathroom while traveling before until my recent trip to Europe. We decided to pack light and wash our clothes when we needed to. This little clothesline is amazing for that purpose! It's easy to find a way to loop it around something on one end and hook it somewhere else on the other and the latex braiding really grips the laundry you hang up with it, and it supports a good amount of weight. Worked like a charm and doesn't weigh hardly anything on its own.
