Used this to manage volts on a Lifan swapped SSR Lazer 5 moped, and was able to preserve all lighting functionality. Several rides in now and the VR appears to be holding. It was so cheap I bought two, and am just sitting on the spare in a drawer for a rainy day.

I bought one, and it didn't work. I figured it was a failure on my part, so a few weeks later I bought a second one. Same issue, it output 8v for a while, then dropped down to 0.53v. Amazon refunded me for both, and I'm going to buy the one TrailTech makes instead.I suspect the seller knows these are garbage, because they have them marked "no refund/return/exchange."

I was looking for a cheap way to rectify and regulate my 1983 Suzuki. I looked up multiple schematics and tried wiring the unit multiple ways. The best I could get out of this unit was half wave unregulated power. It may work for your Chinese ATV but, it did not work for me.

Works great! Replaced my faulty Lifan 70cc regulator/rectifier. Now my engine will run lights and charge the battery.
