This was the third swing arm / axel mount tag bracket I've owned from different manufacturers, and this YanaShiki model has by far the sturdiest design I've seen - two pieces of solid billet aluminum. At least it won't break from being hit with a stray rock like other brands I've owned. However, you can pretty much forget this one too if the bike tips over or gets in an accident. I was recently hit by a car in a low-speed collision and as you can see, as soon as the bike was on it's side with some force this bracket snapped like a twig. It had no chance.YanaShiki has one of the better designs for this style bracket, and it's thick enough to actually replace the axle block. However, I would prefer if their bracket were a single, solid piece (as opposed to the two-pieces with small screws design this is, which seems fragile and cheap). Unfortunately, the placement of the bracket means there will be a lot of pressure on the bracket's arm if the bike falls over on that side, so you can expect for it to break in that scenario. If you keep the bike upright, it's a cool looking bracket that would be a good deal in the $25-$40 range. Instead it's $50 or more, which isn't really worth it when you consider how easy it is to break and that you'll still need a custom tag light of some sort to go with it. The $85 quoted at the time of this writing is a hilarious joke.

Very strong and stable, well made. Just extends to far for as low as I get on the streets.

Had it on for about 3 months and the black faded to copper, Then the arm cracked and the rest broke off. Lost my license plate no idea where its at now.

Good for style and cool points. Will disingrate upon impact of the ground. Good if you are a track rider with a simple unscrew of the axel nut it comes out with a quickness. Just make sure you keep the factory axel spacer.

Good product. Wish it stood a bit higher but not too bad.

I had heard from friends that the lighter grade metal tag brackets that you can get for about $20.00 were no good. They wobble in the wind and will bend or break with only minor bumps so I went for this bracket instead. I am happy I did. It is solid and well bult as stated above. It was easy to install and pretty straight fwd. The only reason it is a 4 and not 5 star is because of the curved design and plate light issue. Heres what I mean, to be street legal you need a light on your plate. Due to the curve one light in the corner is not good enough and you will not be able to see the other end of the plate. So 2 lights are needed one at each end, and even with these 2 lights there is still an area in the middle of the plate which is not illuminated fully. So if you get a cop that wants to be a jerk he can still give you a ticket for this issue. There are some cops that want to be jerks to us sport bike riders so just keep this in mind. Otherwise, I am happy with this bracket and would reccomend to my friends.
