I use these to hold tenkara lines. The spools you get from places like Tenkara USA are super expensive, but these are inexpensive and work just as well. You can get a bulk bag of similar foam disks for much cheaper, but to replicate this item you'd also need buy a pack of push pins. I wish they had a hole in the middle of the disk so I could put them on a tippet holder.
