I ordered the XL for my 10 year old, who's in the 95th percentile for his age's height and the boxers themselves are perfect. They fit him a little larger than a men's small, but he still finds them comfortable. However, the cup is MASSIVE! It's almost the right size for me (6ft, 200lbs). So basically, the cup is useless until he's a teenager. I can recommend the boxers themselves, but I wouldn't order it specifically for the cup.

Ordered these sliding shorts for my 12yo son who plays travel baseball. He's about 5 ft, 90 lbs and I would say they fit ok (maybe slightly on the larger side) but the cup that is included is way too big. He took it out and put in a smaller cup but the pocket it sits in is large and his smaller one slides around. That's annoying to him. Also, these are just barely padded as compared to some of his others, so not as much protection when sliding. The fabric is nice and washes well. It has big red wording that says "Net Ranger" around the waist band (even though the brand is different?) which we could do without but its not a deal breaker. In my opinion $17.99 (price at the time of listing) is a bit pricey for one pair of kids sliding shorts of this quality, but overall these work and do what they are supposed to do.

I ordered this for my 8 year sonโs baseball season to play catcher position. He loves the underwear. So comfortable and the padding is perfect. Comes down long on thighs and could show under shorter shorts but a non issue for baseball pants. The medium size is perfect for his body. 4โ2 and 82 pounds. The cup though is too wide in the bottom portion and his thighs rub on it when moving. He finds the cup to be unusable and too big overall. The length of it is fine. I have ordered him a smaller cup but plan to insert into these underwear.

We have other pairs of sliding shorts. With baseball practice and games almost every night though a 2nd pair is nice in case we don't have time to do laundry. My son said he likes these better than his other pair. He said they feel better and the cup is more comfortable. His other cup as the pointed end and this one is rounded so it gives a little more comfort on the field.

Picked these up for my 10 year old, average size (average height, not chubby, not skinny) son for baseball. I ordered a size large for him. The shorts are great - maybe a little on the slim/tight side. The cup is HUGE!!! It's 6.5" tall. Maybe my order was mis-packed? We'll hold on to the cup for when he gets older - it's WAY too big for him now.

These sliding shorts look great and have enough padding to help soften the slides. They make a great value since they come with a protective cup. The shorts do run a little big so plan accordingly. We do have some shorts that have more cushioned padding but these are still good.

Really liked these padded shorts. They seem very safe and the padding is pretty good on the sides. My son plays football and these fit him good but the cup is overly too big. Like dramatic big in my opinion. But you can switch those out.
