Really handy way to add more PoE ports to an existing spot

Works perfectly for gigabit internet! I’m using a PoE injector from my router to power this switch, and it delivers over 900Mbps across my entire upstairs. Setup was completely plug and play, making it super easy to use with no hassle. It doesn’t seem to have any advanced controls for managing individual ports, but I wouldn’t expect that from a simple plug-and-play PoE extender. For what it is, it does the job perfectly. It’s also completely silent—I have it hidden in a wall cavity, and I’ve noticed no heat or noise issues. For the price, I couldn’t find many alternatives that perform this well, so I’d highly recommend it!

These little things are amazing for what they cost. One run from my POE switch, easily add a camera when I didn't think to run extra feeds of wire.

Great device. Works as expected. See photos for individual speed tests on both PC1 and PC2, then with a remote desktop on PC2 with PC1 in the foreground, showing them both using Speed Test, sharing the same speed 1Gb fibre connection. No noticeable difference from being directly connected to separate LAN ports.Next photos are a file transfer between PC1 & PC2 which are both plugged into the device.PC1 NVMe file share -> PoE Extender Port 1 -> PoE Extender Port 2 -> NVMe drive PC1Speed varies between 108MB/s-113MB/s (mega bytes per second), which is pretty much equivalent to the 1Gb network connection when separately plugged into my switch (113MB x 8bits in a byte = 905Mb/s).Last photo is Reolink Cameras 4k both working and powered up, along with a PC connected. My use case is to add ports at a different location where there is only 1 CAT6a cable, but I wanted to run a test bed where I could compare. No, this is not a review for a free device (i wish it was)Very happy with it.

Looks like it's a fake knockoff from the build quality and marketing quality, but it works! Haven't tested to see if it vlan trunks as promised or if thrown a saturated iperf test at it but it seems to work ok.This does exactly what I needed:1) Have one POE switch connected to a UPS with my modem that is powering each of the room's ethernet connections.2) Put one of these in each room to allow me to power the Ubiquiti access point via POE without needing another POE switch + UPS in each room and also let me connect via wired ethernet for a laptop or desktop.

I wanted this to power two smart-home hubs from central PoE switch that has back-up power so that I had more flexibility on placement of the hubs. For that I needed to also buy two PoE splitters. This is where I found compatibility issues as this did not work with the first set of splitters I bought. However, I returned them and bought two splitters from the same manufacturer, YuanLey, figuring that would work and it did. I also tested by connecting some devices I had that had PoE built in and they worked fine. The only downside left is that this is only a 100Mbps splitter, but for my use case this is perfectly fine.

*EDIT*They seem to have read my previous review, as this device is now offered with up to 5 ports at 1000 MBPS speed. I had resorted to daisy chaining two of the 100 MBPS 4 port devices, and I replaced them with a single 5 port 1000 MBPS device. This was mostly just to save space, as the daisy chained devices were running four POE cameras between them just fine. One 5 port 1000 MBPS device and four POE cameras are combining to use 12 watts of power from the single switch port that is supplying POE to all of them.*ORIGINAL*I purchased this to replace an unmanaged POE switch to which I had three POE cameras connected. This is powered by POE output from my primary switch, which is about 150 feet away. This device and the three cameras combine to use about 10w of POE, well below what the primary switch is capable of. This device provides plenty of power for all three cameras, and provides plenty of bandwidth for them at 100 MBPS (which I was a little concerned about at first, as I would have preferred 1 GBPS uplink to be safe). And it takes up less than half the space the old switch did, it does not need a separate power source (being POE powered), and it costs less than half what the previous switch originally cost me. Other than losing room for expansion (which I could easily regain by daisy chaining another of these), this has turned out to be a significantly better option for me than a second standard POE switch. If you have a POE switch and want to split a single cable run off of it into three separate runs complete with POE, this is a device built to do that for you.
