Seems like decent carpet for redoing the bunks. Order some stainless steel nails or staples to install it.

Yesterday was finally the day to replace my bunk board carpet on my boat trailer. I replaced the wood years ago and waxed it knowing my trips to the lake were only a couple miles and maybe didn't need to go to the trouble of using carpet. I was wrong! The wood would show evidence of white gelcoat as it rubbed the bottom of my fiberglass boat on the small trips to the lake. I got one roll from Vine and purchased two more for the four bunks. They came tightly rolled and wrapped with thick plastic and heavy duty tape. The carpet is nice and thick but unrolled and folded around the edges of the wood perfectly. I used 1/2" staples and some wide headed screws to secure it. Trimming it was easy with a razor. I meant to get a picture of the completed project and forgot because the sun was shining and the boat was in the water waiting for me! Loading back on the trailer was like sliding my foot into a comfortable slipper. I forgot how nice bunk carpet was! Then cranking the last couple feet was effortless. I'll never go without again!
