Takes so much headache out of plugging up misc holes. Beforehand I would use whatever I had within arms reach. Rarely did I use something that didn't need to be cleaned beforehand.These are tapered, so they fit literally everything smaller than a nickel. No residue to cleanup afterwards like when using cotton balls, they are easy to clean off, etc. They are excellent. These kits should be in stores
