I thought this may be a superfluous purchase, but we had these weird moths that showed up out of nowhere, and they needed to be GONE!!! We cleared out as much food as possible where they could have been hiding and washed as much as possible, but they were STILL THERE!Enter this contraption. I don’t like zip-batting live things, but they don’t belong in my home, so…ZAP they must go. Works well and doesn’t even need to be recharged that often. However, I recommend clearing the remains out after each “session” (shake over garbage can), otherwise they will continue to be zzzzaaapped the next time you turn it on.

i bought this product for my home use and i have nothing but good things to say about it. it is durable and reliable. the battery life is AMAZING and i’ve used it countless times between charges. i have not shocked myself so i am unaware of how well strong it is. zapping the bugs has been a rewarding experience since i no longer have to chase after them. this product has left me in ⚡️shock⚡️ of how effective it is of ridding mosquitos most of all. the design makes it easy to kill bugs on the wall, making it even more simple to do.

Pros: A very Satisfying ZAP with each fly captured. Outer grid is not live so I've even set on top of my metal bowl when a fruit fly was about to meet their fate. After the first miss I get the fruit fly almost every time. Really like how you can just lay up against the cabinet and then instead of moving the racket just frighten the fly. The design is great for conserving power, I've killed 30 flies and still showing a full charge, turning it off after the hunt, using position one, and only gripping the squeeze on handle prior to swatting a fly. Can't speak to how well it is to leave on for mosquitos you'll have to read elsewhere.CONS: A bit bulky to swing so swing hard and stay away from the wall. Fly does not totally disintegrate, so if you want go look for it odds are it is somewhere. Two step on for fly hunting, takes a little getting used to. (Switch has to be position one and grip the racket) You can switch to position two but that is a major drain on the battery and the instructions on the handle even recommend to have it in the charger while on position two so as not to drain the battery.Yes I'd buy this again, That loud bang lets you know flys is gone, oh yes I'd recommend getting the one that is bulkier as to me it just looks more sturdy and is more like a real racket.

I got months in my pantry and I've been trying to kill them. I tried pet friendly bug spray that didn't work. Turned on this bad boy and started getting excited Everytime I heard them get zapped. I highly recommend this bad boy.

This WD-942 bug zapper makes me jump every time it zaps a bug when I’m in the same room as it. That is, it is loud when it zaps, but it does zap the flying bugs. I like that it can be used as both as a fly swatter style and has a holder to keep it upright and zapping unattended. The zapper requires a USB-A charger to power it. It uses about 3 Watts until charged. If it zaps a lot of bugs in a short time frame, it will start to lose power and you may need to power it off for couple hours to get fully charged again, but in my environment, that isn’t too often. The zapper has 3 ways to use it. 1) turn it on with the UV light, and leave in its base. 2) turn it on with the UV light, and wave around the flying nats. 3) turn it to the middle power switch setting but no UV light, and wave it around, but press the long button on the handle to turn it on, and release it to turn it off. I use this 3rd use when there are flying bugs around but I’m waiting to for them to come back.
