This is a very nice set of calipers w/carbide scribe. Perfect addition to my fab table for quick marking of materials. It is nice to not use my Starrett calipers as a scribe now *JK, I never did that, I used cheap HF calipers for scribing*.Must have for any tool box.

These calipers are an excellent alternative to using standard calipers for scribing, protecting your main tools from unnecessary wear. The built-in bearing ensures smooth and easy movement, and the carbide scriber is easy to sharpen for consistent performance. You can either use the integrated scale for measurements or pair it with another tool to set your distance. A reliable and well-designed tool for marking on various materials. I highly recommend it.

This is a very well made tool , comes with an extra scribe and a carrying case made of leather, I would definitely purchase again.
