This driver pairs well with my Lutron dimmer and delivers smooth, flicker-free lighting just as advertised. Dimming range is wide and transitions are clean, which really elevates the ambience in my kitchen setup. I did notice a faint humming sound when dimmed very low, but it’s not loud enough to be a dealbreaker. Installation was straightforward, and the build quality feels reliable. If you’re setting up LED strips or under-cabinet lighting, this is a solid option.

This model is reliable and easy to install with clear wiring labels, eliminating the need for instructions. It's slim, efficient, and stays cool under load while providing ample power. The no-flicker claim may vary based on usage; it shows oscillation when dimmed and emits a high-pitched noise in dimming mode. However, it runs quietly when not dimmed. It's somewhat expensive, making it a great option if dimming isn't required, but it may not fit all needs. I also value its simple design and sections for goals, tasks, brainstorming, and tracking water intake and mood.

Does exactly what it says it does, handles dimming well, and is in a nice compact package with cable clamps so the stress is not placed on the small screw in wiring points. Wires must be very small (~1.5mm) so this won't work with any large gauge wire, so be aware.I paired mine with a TP-Link Tapo P135 and the dimming from 0% to 80% is all very dim, and then from 80% to 100% is where all the reasonable dim settings are. Not sure if that's the dimmer or this, but it works well for my needs. No flickering with that dimmer.Wish this came with 2 small screws to install on the wall since the holes are also teeny for mounting.

Great LED driver, but wiring diagrams are frequently installed backwards…..then FOLLOWING THE BACKWARDS DIAGRAM ON THE TOP OF THE DRIVER FOR WIRING….POOF….THE DRIVER IS TOAST !

The 12V dimmable LED driver presents itself as an affordable option in a market saturated with drivers that lack dimming capabilities or compatibility with various dimmer switch types. This particular driver boasts compatibility with several dimming technologies, including triac/phase, 0-10V, 1-10V, PWM, and potentiometers, a feature highlighted both on the product page and the device itself. However, my initial assessment during setup was somewhat marred by concerns regarding the wire termination blocks. Their diminutive size raised questions about the acceptable wire gauge range, as this information is conspicuously absent from any markings on the blocks. I have doubts about using these blocks with 12AWG or even 14AWG wire, the standard for residential lighting circuits. Past experiences with similar termination blocks and 14AWG solid NM cable have left me wary; the tightening screws often strip, either at the heads or threads, and the block's ability to maintain sufficient pressure on the solid wire diminishes over time. This can lead to the wire loosening, thereby increasing the risk of a short circuit or, worse, a fire.To proceed with testing, I incorporated an 18AWG fixture whip to supply 120 volts to the dimmable driver. Initially, I wired the circuit without a dimmer connected, and the driver successfully powered my LED light fixture without any complications. The crucial test, of course, involved assessing the driver's dimming capabilities. I began with a simple triac dimmer switch. Almost immediately upon adjusting the switch, I observed flickering in the light output, and the dimming was far from smooth across the switch's range. Furthermore, during the dimmed portion, an audible hum emanated from the driver itself. While it's possible that the light switch was incompatible or even defective (I only tested one switch), it's worth noting that the same switch performed flawlessly in another circuit with a different driver and several low-voltage LED fixtures.Next, I explored dimming via PWM, which yielded satisfactory results. However, the excellent performance of most dimmable LEDs under PWM dimming made this outcome unsurprising.Following the PWM test, I experimented with a 3-pin 100-ohm potentiometer, connecting the first pin to positive, the second pin to positive, and the third pin to negative. The potentiometer delivered the most favorable dimming performance, exhibiting smoothness and consistency throughout the entire dimming range. Nevertheless, the driver once again produced a slight hum, with its frequency varying across the dimmable range. This noise might be a significant drawback for some users, but my intention is to mount the driver in a location where any hum will be inaudible. While the audible hum and the triac dimmer's poor performance are considered a failure considering the products description. I am willing to accept these shortcomings, especially given the driver's attractive price point.

This is a nice, low profile led driver. I can use these for a lot of different applications.

First see the photos and check if yours has been mislabeled too. I incorrectly wired the unit the first time around and thankfully nothing happened. Zero. For clarity - the power goes into the single connector block and the light is connected to the right of connector block of the two on the opposite side. When I rewired it the right way it worked perfectly. I tried the dimming function with my Lutron switches and that worked as advertised - which is to say great!! I don’t have a potentiometer handy but I expect that works just as well. Of course Lutron switches have a ton of features so I’ll be going that route to control this transformer.Other nice feature of this unit is its compact slimline size. Very happy with it!!

These little power supplies are great for projects where you don't want to take the time to build one from scratch, and are especially useful for situations where you don't want to use a wall mounted block transformer. The particular one is quite stable, I do like that it is easy to mount, and wiring it up is a breeze. Everything is well labeled and no instructions are required.
