I use this as just a brush holder more than anything else. when doing model painting I like to use a single brush per color to lessen the chance of tinting. I can just rest the brushes not being used. One word of caution, the prongs are not very strong so don't try and stretch them too much with a larger brush.

There are so many little details that I love about this 2 pc Paint Washing Cups by Diyeah. I use these cups for any type of project where I need to rinse a brush out. I wouldn't have thought a brush rinsing cup could make me so happy and be so much better than just using a disposable cup, but here we are. And here's why. The top of the cup has a black plastic ring with little clips to hold a variety of brush sizes. It doesn't matter if I'm painting with a thinner brush or a thicker one, there's a clip to hold it. There's also a total of 8 clips so if I'm using more than one brush, I have plenty of places for additional brushes. It's super easy to take the paint brush in and out of the clip and yet the clip also holds the paintbrush snuggly in place. Where this really comes in handy is when I'm doing multiple coats of something. Back when I just grabbed a disposable cup, my paintbrush would rest in the water in-between coats. This wasn't good for the longevity of the brush because it would soak where the metal brush tip connected with the wood, damaging the wood and loosening the glue holding the brush together. But when I use one of these cups, the clip holds the brush part in the water, so it doesn't dry out while keeping the rest of the paintbrush nice and dry. Another feature I like about these cups are the grooves at the base of the cup. These are fantastic for running your brush back and forth on when cleaning. It's also nice that these come with screw on caps so I can store water in the cups without it evaporating. The cup itself is of a nice weight and feels solid. All around, these are very well made, and I highly recommend!
