I have several bikes with repair pouches and I don't ride tubeless, so I rely on patches and rubber glue. For most riders, I think this is perfectly acceptable, but every now and again, I do get on the trail, get a flat, attempt a repair and find out the rubber glue tube is dried out.I recently got a pinch flat on my favorite trail and was able to successfully use one of these patches which requires no glue at all and it worked. In fact, I haven't even bothered to change out the tube yet as it holds air just fine.I also do some rafting and have inflatable mattresses, so when the time comes, I'll report back if these patches are effective on other inflatables as well.

I broke this set in half and put a few in my bike bag behind my seat just in case. Comes with everything you need. Not so sure about the self-adhesive patches But I have tire patch glue just in case. Pack a little tube in my bag.
