2.The battery cable should be as short as possible to minimize loss.
3.The regulator is only suitable for lead acid batteries:OPEN,AGM,GEL it is not suited for nickel metal hydride,lithium ions or other batteries.
4.The charge regulator is only suitable for regulating solar modules. Never connect another charging source to the charge regulator.

Looks like it works most of the time, you can’t see electricity but it occasionally gives high voltage readings instead of regulating it. Awww

After one month it stopped working correctly...200w solar panel was over charging a 100ah AGM up to and over 16v... had to disconnect from battery... obviously it has caused a shorter batt life !!!

Very poor instructions. Still able to put it to good use. It won't charge 12v batteries unless they are less than 12v. Not sure where the voltage cut off is. Had to put it on the 24v setting to get it to charge my batteries. For the price so far it gets the job done. Was able to run a 12v car vacuum off the load side of the regulator.
