Thought the peg itself might be bigger, but it's super small. They lock the shelf in place so that it doesn't tip over which is nice. The downside of plastic is that they are easy to break.

I recently used these clear plastic locking shelf pins in my kitchen cabinets, and they worked quite well. They fit in standard 20mm shelf holes and were very easy to install, requiring no tools. I used some glue to help keep them in place when removing the shelf. The clear plastic design gives a clean look. Overall, these pins are a good choice for light to medium loads, easy to use, and offer a solid value for the price.
