We purchased new ready-to-install cabinets from a big box home improvement store. We were surprised to find there was no way to install a shelf in our base cabinets. We also wanted to add additional shelves in our uppers as the uppers only came with one shelf per cabinet.We purchased shelving at the store in 8 ft pieces and cut our shelves to size. We ordered these shelf clips and used the appropriate sized bit to drill our holes. (We used a piece of scrap 1x4 to make our hole template so we had the hole in the exact same spot on the four corners of the cabinet. Marked our bit so we knew how far we wanted to drill into the cabinet.) Worked like a charm.We've had no issues with these clips. they work well. They hold the weight of the 3/4" shelves as well as the dishes. Much cheaper than buying them at the home improvement store. Our local store was selling 4 pks for the same price as this 32 pack. I definitely recommend.

I have these shelf pins in my kitchen but two of them broke. They come in a pack of 32 and are easy to install. You will want to make sure to check your shelf width to ensure these clips will work for you. You simply push them into the existing shelf hole and place your shelf in between the top and bottom clips, it locks into place and holds your shelf in place. Being that these are plastic, they don't tend to last as long as the metal pins, so good thing you have 32 in this package. In all fairness though, I've had these shelves for over 10 years and only need to replace 3-4 of these pins. The clear clips do look better for open or floating shelves.
