It's a DS Servo, just rebranded or unbranded.... This is their budget servo with the brass gears. Great value, good strength and speed. Works great.

I'm a retired electronics technician. I've built an electronics bench here at home to design, build and test all things electronic. I'm often in need of a servo to push or pull something on a gadget I'm building, mostly just for fun. At this price, this is a quality servo unit, and much cheaper than most hobby shops sell these for. I tested it out on the bench, and it's pretty powerful for it's size. i think it would be powerful enough for a steering servo on a smaller RC car. For something like a 1:10 car, you would need something that will take more of a beating and last longer. So for what it's designed for, this one is great.

Solid servo upgrade for RC cars. This is a much better built and higher quality servo than the one that came in my prebuilt RC truck. I has more torque, is faster and is metal rather than all plastic. Very happy with this and will be buying more in the future as I progress with upgrades on other vehicles.

Amazing servo for their price. Great for crawlers & bashers. Well made & solid construction. We'll see how well these will hold up. I'll follow up with updates if there are any changes.Overall I would highly recommend purchasing this 35KG High Torque Servo Motor Servo AYWHP 1 Pcs RC Servo High Torque Metal Gear Digital Servo RC Servo for RC Robotic/Helicopter/Car/Boat/DIY, 1/8 1/10 RC Car (Control Angle 0-180°)Finally this review is of my own honest opinion & is not swayed in anyway by other influences.

A decent servo. Speed is a little inflated, but it’s not particularly slow. Waterproofing is good, and the gears are full metal. Would make for a tolerable racing servo in a 1/10 stadium truck or short course, but is a little slow for a buggy. It is an encoder-based servo, which means increased durability and lifespan at the cost of precision. By my testing, its resolution seems to be about 14µS, which is 4 trim steps on my transmitter. It doesn’t specify a pulse width range, but assuming it’s 500-2500µs for 180°, that means the resolution of this servo is 1.26° (not great).I measured the speed with a little test rig and a high-speed camera. I set the servo up to sweep exactly 90°, then measured how fast it moved from lock-to-lock, as well as how fast it covered the middle 60° at full speed.- 6.0V: Full sweep: 0.198 sec/60°, top speed: 0.164 sec/60°- 7.4V: Full sweep: 0.180 sec/60°, top speed: 0.133 sec/60°

Overall considering the price of this servo it’s great value and so far is working great, it’s pretty fast and does more than I will demand of it, my only complaints is the color and the weight, but that maybe a positive for some.

This servo drops right in, four (4) screws and plug and play on the receiver. Operated the first time plugged in and responded to the remote control. Keeps the steering tight on my 1/10 scale RC. The plug in jack the same as the one I replaced.

These servos work great for the price. Decent power and strength. After a few bashing sessions it’s still working great.
