After replacing the water pump, thermostat and radiator cap I still had an overheating problem with my 2003 Honda Accord so I turned to the internet for answers and found that in some cases this temperature sensor was the culprit and sure enough, it was. Overheating problem was solved in my car by replacing this $7 part!

It was not a direct fit. Side tabs do not fit 08 Honda civic, it fits into the radiator but does not fit into the connector
