- Question #1: Is it really support streaming up to 4K60Hz?
A: Yes, it supports capturing/streaming up to 4K60Hz.
- Question #2: Can I connect Mac as my source?
A: When it comes to Apple products, like Mac, they typically implement HDCP protection mechanisms, which can affect the functionality of HDMI capture and result in no video output. Due to this reason, we generally don't recommend using Apple products. However, if you are sure that your Apple product won't encounter HDCP issue, it is welcome to use it with our capture box.

Works great with VLC and OBS under windows 11 and Linux ( Debian 12 ). It's a little bit picky about the USB ports but a modern system should be able to handle it no problem . Picture quality is excellent. HDMI audio is working too. It requires no drivers and appears as a Camera to the OS . The device itself is a metal case which feels like good quality construction

TLDR: This product just works, if you need to record 4K60 with HDR10 or simply use your laptop as a screen for games (you need an HDMI input added to your computer) you’re golden.So, I’ve tried a bunch of other products from $20 1080p 30fps to the Elgato HD60X and nothing has worked for my computer. I have a 16” m1 macbook pro and all of the other cards gave me an error saying something along the lines of “this card does not support resolution scaling”. You see, the screen I have for all of its perks is slightly below a full 4k resolution , this created a multitude of problems. This product is the only thing that has worked. Set it up with OBS and i was able to get 4k 60fps with 10 bit color (HDR 10, 4:2:0) working flawlessly (just remember to turn off buffering if you’re playing games as it adds input lag.) I can’t recommend this product enough and I hope this review saves someone the pain and headache i had to go though to get here. The product is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.
