I should have paid attention to the slide that showed they are 2 mm thick. They don’t hug the ground like the heavier ones from Lowe’s.

Not worth the price. These rings are very thin, almost like thick tissue paper or flimsy construction paper. They definitely do not give the appearance of mulch! I'm very disappointed.

Placed the ring fabric around my citrus trees, not just for the weed control but also to keep the soil moisture for less watering. And so far, it's been working great as expected for my use. The leaves are all green & making good amount of fruits.Also, I like the bigger size than previous ones to cover extra spaces and/or cut around for narrow corners.

4PCS 32.2" Non Woven Tree Mulch Ring, Weed Barrier Landscape Fabric, Reusable Tree Mulch Ring Non Woven Landscape Fabric for Gardening Landscaping Weed Control Root ProtectionI wasn’t getting my hopes up too much since the description stated non woven weed fabric, and Yup, that is what it is - which is what I have already been using around some of my trees, I’d just cut a large piece off the roll of weed fabric, then place it around the trunk of a tree in our yard then stake it down with weed fabric staples.The tree mulch ring is a little thicker then the weed fabric (6’ wide x 400’ long) that I purchased from a local Ag & Farm equipment store, only difference being this mulch ring is way more expensive. The weed fabric that I staked down six years ago is showing no signs of deterioration, but does have some lichen growing on it.The stated description for the mulch ring states: excellent durability, super permeable, perfect tree mulch ring, pre cut hole and versatile landscaping tool, all issues you would expect for this item. All I can say is that it is weed fabric that is cut in a circle with the center hole pre cut for the tree trunk, water transfer seems the same as the weed fabric, I can’t speak towards durability will have to wait at least six years to see how well it held up.I feel the suggested MSRP is too expensive because I can purchase the heavy duty rubber mulch rings for less at the Big Box Stores. I’m not impressed because my homemade 36” round weed fabric tree trunk barrier probably cost me five cents each to make. I just placed the weed fabric on the garage floor, then used my wife’s 36” diameter beam compass (uses a wooden dowel) to draw the circle, then cut the weed fabric with a sharp electric scissors, took me fifteen minutes to cut out six all at the same time. I can only give the tree mulch ring a 2 Star rating because its nothing special or exceptional, is basically the same as my homemade ones - only difference being that its very expensive for what it is.
