Classic Santee Cooper dragging configuration for trophy catfish. Keeps the bait off the bottom and makes it less prone to snagging up and getting hooked into logs, rocks, etc., Good quality materials, still need a swivel and a sinker+slide or a 3-way swivel to complete.

Catfish are kinda allusive in our canal. We have set up twice with this rig; yet to catch a catfish, but we have caught a snakehead. Some tweaks need to be made on the line. First time catching a snakehead not on live bait.
