After a scare with accidentally leaving the gas on, I realized how critical real-time air quality monitoring can be. This offers comprehensive tracking of CO, CO2, and other pollutants like PM2.5, PM10, and HCHO. The WiFi connectivity is excellent and you can monitor air quality and receive alerts directly the phone. It has a medium size LCD screen and displays all metrics clearly, which can also be seen and monitored from the Tuya app.The WiFi setup was easy, but after connected, it can be overwhelming at first to interpret all the parameters. Additionally, the compact size is great but makes the readings less visible from a distance. It also makes a lot of noise out the box but you can configure it to not be so loud.

This small indoor air quality monitor identifies issues so they can be addressed. It does require USB power for normal use, as the integral battery only lasts several hours. There are mounting holes in the back for hanging it on a wall, but the base is solid and it works well placed upon a table or stand. The monitor works with the Tuya (or SmartLife) app, which allows convenient monitoring as well as easy adjustment of alert levels, turning off the alarm, etc.The devices measures four sizes of particulates, total volatile organic compounds and HCHO (formaldehyde), carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide, plus temperature and relative humidity. The app also graphs readings over a day, month, or year.I placed the monitor in my bedroom on a nightstand with a USB power block. After the third time the alarm sounded because of a rise in carbon dioxide levels, I turned off that feature in the app. The screen still lights to alert me that I am breathing in my sleep. On a more important note, the monitor also detected excessive levels of organic compounds and formaldehyde. I had neglected to change the charcoal filter in my air purifiers: servicing the air purifiers resolved those problems. While my spider plants help reduce carbon dioxide during the day, I am considering opening a window or installing an air exchanger for better air at night. The instructions do provide a method to reset the monitor, which I did before trusting the readings. Turn it off by holding down the button for 3 seconds, place it outside a closed widow for a half hour, then turn it on and wait for it to stabilize. All the reading were normal at the end of that procedure (zero except for 425 ppm of carbon dioxide).Full disclosure: I ordered this 15-in-1 Air Quality Monitor through the Amazon Vine program. As a user of the product, I have done my best to provide an honest review.
