Calibration,System Setting and Pollutant Treating Calculator
Easy to calibrate the air quality tester,the operating steps as following:1,take the detector to air fresh environment,such as balcony,outdoor etc.2,run for more than 10min.3,press “start “,waiting 5mins for calibration count down(do not cover the detection ports).4,press “finish” after calibrated.
Setting for our air quality pollution monitor indoor ,you can enter setting interface by pressing “D”from main interface ,you would not fail to set the screen OFF/Shutdown time from the first two options,also you can adjust the work speed,brightness and factory set .So next we will introduce the sensor setting ,you would enable to adjust the data of HCHO/TEMP/PM2.5 once the measuring data was not accurate enough ,press the up/down or right/left arrow to select which parameter would need to be adjusted,press “save”when all parameters are set ,then you can gain the accurate data from our air pollution sensors.

Press”C”in the child interface ,it’s the multiply function ,you will enter the Intelligent formaldehyde and haze removal calculator.Press”A”and enter the mode of treating HCHO(Formaldehyde),you can select the acreage of our living room/master room/baby room/guest room/study room/kitchen ,the data of HCHO and the methods ,when all factors are ready ,then we can press”A”to calculate the time and cost for treating the pollutants .The step for treating Haze is the same with treating HCHO after entering the icon of Treating Haze .It must be a handy and practical tool to treat the polluted environment .Alarm setting would allow you to set the alarm based on the real-time data of HCHO ,you can set the alarm duration and alarming tune too.
How to test formaldehyde/TVOC:
1. Turn on the power switch
2. Preheating: Wait 3 minutes for preheating to complete.
3. Calibration:
a) After preheating, click the "Calibration" button on the comprehensive measurement interface to enter the intelligent calibration interface;
b) Place the instrument in a place with fresh air (such as balcony, outdoors);
c) Turn on the computer for more than 10 minutes;
d) Click the "Start" button, please wait for the 300-second calibration countdown;
e) After the countdown is over, click the "Finish" button to return to the comprehensive measurement interface, and you can directly take it into the indoor test.
4. Start the test: Close the doors and windows during the test. The test location can be the bedroom, living room, cupboard, cloakroom, etc. Take it to the test point and wait for more than 5 minutes ,then we can read the result directly. Then take it to the second place to test if you wanna switch testing location . Leave it for more than 5 minutes and get direct readings (it is recommended to gradually move from low concentration to high concentration during testing).
5. At the end of the test: turn off the tester, keep it properly.

When turned on it needs to be in a clean environment to run its calibrations, then it can be moved to the test space. This might limit its uses, but self-calibrating makes life easy. The VOC measurement uses an internal fan to pull air from left side and out right side. On the inflow side there is a temperature/humidity sensor. The formaldehyde sensor is not in this air flow path, it is on top side. In all the device is very simply designed, not much can go wrong. There is, however, plenty of empty space inside, i don't understand why it wasn't made much thinner by reducing empty space, or why it doesn't have a replaceable battery compartment, seems a waste to lock it up with a rechargeable battery that will eventually end up spent and not hold a charge. The rechargeable battery that is inside is easy to find (18650 Li-ion), but it is soldered in place with two wires, so it requires some skill and adaptation to replace it. The device contains an alarm buzzer that sounds if air quality is low, the alarm is loud. The USB-C port on the back only connects the 5V and ground, it cannot be used for transferring data. It does have a bluetooth antenna (looks like BLE) but i could not connect to it, nor do i know what app to use.

This little portable monitor has been very convenient for me. Around my shop/home/office I have a few static air purifiers that all take some of the readings this device does, but none all. This device allows me to take all of the readings I could want anywhere quickly and easily.Size wise it is perfect, it is big enough to stand up on its own and have a very readable screen but small enough I can toss it in the case to my backpack without issue. The readings it takes are quick and appear to be close to what my "expensive" purifiers are reading which gives me confidence it is actually more accurate than they are. I don't have a super expense quality monitor to compare to, but since I can set it next to any of my other devices and it reads closely (with the additional data) I know it works well enough for my non-professional use and hence is worth the cost.

I was skeptical about this air quality monitor. I tested it and doubted it right from the start. Good news: It's consistent and seems to be working on several levels. Bad news: It's telling me stuff I needed to know but was not prepared to see.We have periodic bouts of formaldehyde and total VOC gases in our home. I don't think they are unusual, but I didn't realize they were there. We're talking about gases coming from adhesives and soaps and cleaners and new carpets and other stuff. They're not at dangerous levels. Most of the time. But sometimes they spike. So I try to air out the house, particularly the kitchen, the bathrooms and the family room.The PM-2.5 -- dangerous little specks that you sometimes breathe into your lungs -- do not seem to be a big problem inside the house. But they happen outside of our house. I compared the monitor's readings with a network of other monitors. This little monitor is consistent with other, more expensive monitors for PM-2.5.It's easy to set up easily. Took me about five minutes. I did not have to upload an app on my phone, but I read that you can buy a version of this that does use an app. I don't need it. Glad I don't have it.The battery seems to draw down quickly, so I don't have it on all the time. I would have given it a five-star rating if the battery lasted several days. This one does not.I recommend this monitor. It's a real eyeopener. In fact, I'm going to turn on my air purifiers right after I finish writing this. You might want to get one or two of those devices too.

I work in a shop that handles a little of everything; metal fab, non-ferrous casting, woodwork, ceramics, finishing and spray coatings. Naturally, I'm curious how my work environment stacks up, and if it's never measured, it's never managed.I set it up about 10 feet from where I was doing some re-finish sanding with a professional grade random orbital sander with very good built-in dust evacuation. I could smell a *little* bit of something, but not enough to make me worry. The monitor, 10 feet away, went from "fresh" to "poor". I would not have guessed the air quality dropped that much despite the vacuum system I was using. Perhaps it's time for a HEPA system? My future self will probably thank me.

This meter is a bit of a conundrum for me. I like that it can do graphs of the readings. And the form factor is ok. The humidity readings are very different than my other meters, though, and I don't have a traceable meter to use as a tie breaker.Some of the PM readings are about 50% lower than my other meters, but this is at low particle counts. I'll have to wait for more air pollution to compare it at higher ranges.
