I used this on my Xcarve to cut various projects I am working on. The length of the bit is great and chip ejection is good. After doing some light passes on soft wood, it was apparent this is to be used with slower feed rates, especially on hard woods.The bit cuts good and minimizes tear out, but with the length of the cutting surface on the bit, I backed off because I didn't want to break it. I feel like it will last me a while since it is carbide, as long as I go easy.I hope you found this review helpful.

Solid carbide nano blue coated up cut end mill cutter with 1/4 inch shank and 1/8 inch cutting diameter to a depth of 1 1/4 inches. Nano coating reduces friction and heat build up increasing useful life up to 2.5 times.
