I got this for my husband to repair a small hole caused by needing to inspect a mysterious water leak in our bathroom wall. This was very useful to have...though my husband was not convinced that it was better than repair tape. I thought this would be more solid in the longterm, though. I think it is a handy thing to have on hand, too!

Wall patch kits are pretty basic kit, and there are many on the market. This one isn't special at all. The self-adhesive feature is kind of a dud because it doesn't adhere to anything but the most clean and glossy surfaces. I tried it on a newly spackled section and it fell off immediately. I used a bit of wet spackle to attach the patches and this worked ok, but other products designed for this approach work better, such as basic drywall tape or other wet and apply products. In short, this isn't the most functional of products. Also, because it lacks adequate texture, mud will just move around on it. So, YMMV.

used these to repair two water spots holes on celling, and the ability to easily size, along with the adhesive made it simple. . mudded over smooth and didn't dome which was my fear. would use again

This product worked Very well. It took only minutes to apply. I followed the directions and applied the patch, painted on one thinner coat of paint, pulled the tab as instructed, allowed the area to dry, and then added two more coats of paint. Done!Did it work to patch the holes, yes!Does the paint stick to it, yes!Can you still see the outline of the patch, yes you can. Maybe someone who doesn’t know they are there won’t notice them but I can still see them. But overall, it was so much easier than filling the holes and sanding. So, if you want a quick fix to patch a hole this is a great repair kit, but I wouldn’t use it in a really noticeable location.Note - the patching does not work as well on heavier textured or "bumpy" or flocked walls - the adhesion can't get sufficient grip, I think.

I have used this brand before and been pleased with the results. This one is great because it is strong but easy to cut and shape. The self-adhesion is adequate and the strength while still being flexible is very helpful.

These 6x6" flexible patches work fantastic! I found a large hole in my wall while trying to replace my microwave. It looks like they punched a hole in the wall them cut through on an angle (no idea why anyone would do that and be so sloppy). Needless to say, I needed to quickly patch the hole so I can prep the wall properly.A single square was big enough to cover the largest hole and I was able to cut strips to patch along the other holes. I when has just enough to reinforce a few other smaller almost holes. It was really easy to cut the square into the shapes and sizes I needed. The adhesive backing made it simple to place over the holes and stayed in place. The patches took the patching compound and I was able to smooth over the areas without the patch bulging or the mesh showing through.Pics show the process, last pic is after the rough layer of compound. I'll need to wait for the first rough layer of drywall compound to dry, lightly sand, them apply a skim coat before I can prime the wall and finally paint (for some very strange reason the previous owners painted the kitchen red which still shows through a bit under the compound).I've used other quick wall patches along with mesh tapes and that patches work great! I will definitely use these and purchase again!

The drywall repair kit works great. I just cut it a little larger than my hole the my drywall, stuck it to the wall and put drywall putty over it. Sanded it down a couple of times and put the finish coat on, lightly sanded and it was ready to paint. The quality is very good and the price is better than similar items at my local Lowe's store
