These were of good quality but a lot smaller than we expected.

These things are made out of fairly soft and thin metal, so don't expect them to hold much weight. The screws are even worse. They might survive something like basswood or balsa, but they break off in hardwood right at the head, so you have to shift the hasp and re-drill. With a second or third screw break you can't hide it anymore. BTW, I wasn't power drilling them in, just using a screwdriver with a properly sized pilot hole.

Latch works great. The screws that come with it....throw them away. Heads snapped off the first two screws i tried to use. Maybe they work fine in softwoods. But if ur using them for hardwood....forget it.
