Not something I'd use for making an heirloom box, but they're ok for medium quality stuff. Finish is a bit rough, but what do you expect for this price?

These latches come with wood screws ("beveled" on the underside of the head, to be countersunk), and I think they should have screws that are flat under the head, like machine or sheet metal type screws are. Also the screw threads were almost too large to fit through the mounting holes in the latch parts without forcing them. In the end, I used my own hardware for mounting. Otherwise, this product was perfect for my application and the latches function well.

Nothing wrong with these toggle clamps. Installation requires attention to detail in order to achieve the desired clamping force between the two pieces. Pleasantly surprised to find that if the spring action is not desired, the spring is easily defeated with a 10-second modification.
