Easily the nicest book stand I've ever owned. It'sso sturdy and well built, and the acrylic is so nice I thoughtit was glass.I use it mostly for my eink tablet, but also for cookbooks and textbooks. My phone fits perfectly in the base slot, as well. Have used it daily since getting it, usually when I'm hanging in my kitchen (meals, snacks, tea, and feeding my pups). Holds at a perfect angle for reading. The little arms to hold the book open are a little tricky to manipulate, but they do hold it well! The acrylic is really nice, but it keeps catching the light at the wrong angle. That's a personal irritant, but since this is a review I thought I should mention it.

This easily rotates 360 degrees, with a slight click as you turn it, which keeps it from just spinning freely whenever you want to turn a page. The height and angle are also completely adjustable and easy to manipulate. This book stand supports very large and heavy books (I put my study Bible on it and it handled it like a champ). The page holders are a little difficult to figure out. You kind of have to force them into position, and I worried they might break. But, they turned out to be quite sturdy and held up well despite my concerns. The description says you can use this for a laptop, and I suppose you could if you have a light enough and small enough laptop. I have pretty large "gaming" model, so while it will physically fit on this, it's too heavy to lift it any higher than the base of this unit. A more "normal" sized laptop would probably work fine, though. All in all, I'm sure I'll get plenty of use out of this book stand.
