After reading multiple reviews and comparing it to other leashes I decided to order this one. First off, I placed the order on Sunday February 27th and it had already arrived March 2nd, which was way sooner than what initially stated. My initial thoughts were, it was packaged beautifully no kinks in the leash causing any weird bend marks. It is heavy, not like annoyingly heavy but it does have a good weight to it which I like. Most reviewers were complaining about the badge being upside down. It will not be upside down if you hook it correctly. The side with the D-rings goes closest to the dog then swing the other end over your body and hook it to the closest D-ring to you. From that point you can move the badge (same way as adjusting the size of a collar) to anywhere you feel comfortable. It takes a little working out but it is totally doable. The measurements on the leash for me being a 5’5 female and a Golden who comes up to my knees are a little over 2 feet starting at the D-ring closest to my body. The next one down is about 20 inches, the next one is a foot from me to him, then the last one is almost 7 inches. If he moves away from me it does still give slack so the measurements are kinda so so. When it is clipped to the D-Ring closest to my body he is able to lay down comfortably with slack still in the line. When it’s clipped to the next one down however it does create a lot of tension but he is able to lay down. I will give another review when I use it for a while, until then I am super happy with what I got.Sdit Moose and his handler says thanks Active Dogs!

Well-made and good design. I needed a leash like this. It’s perfect to use with my dog while I am pushing my mom in her wheelchair. I really like the choices you can make on the leash to adjust its length.

This is perfect for what I need. My service dog is a labradoodle, so he’s tall enough that I feel comfortable walking with this the majority of the time. When he’s “free” on walks, I unclip the hands free portion and use it like a normal leash so he’s free to roam when pitying or something. It’s really sturdy and I love it! I do still hold the end sometimes, but his vest also has a traffic lead so I’m trying to get used to holding the lead instead of this leash. It’s just a habit and makes me feel more in control, even though I know it’s not necessary. ❤️❤️

This is really well made. The extra loops give a lot of flexibility in how tight it is around your body or how long the line is for your dog to be next to you. my dog can even lay down next to me when I am standing with this leash. I also appreciate that the tag that says service dog is a very durable metal and the leash slides thru it instead of being open on each end where it could potentially come off. I really like this leash.

I will admit, I felt really dumb when I received this, because I couldn't figure out how to use it. I saw a few other reviews say the same. No directions came with it and I kept feeling like the service tag was upside down and I was really frustrated. The service tag is small, not very easy to see. It hangs more across your chest than near the dog. Finally I figured out the group of rings go closest to the dog if that helps anyone. I like that it's adjustable, but sometimes I feel it's too short, other times I feel too long. Maybe having more rings as options would've made me happier I'm not sure.Once I FINALLY figured out how to use it, the first month or so I did find it comfortable and really liked it. I'm not quite sure what it is but over time I feel like I'm constantly adjusting it on my shoulders and feeling it's less sturdy. It is starting to show wear. For the price point it was good, but I feel like I'm going to have to replace it soon which is a let down. If you have a dog that is already super well trainer on one of these it may be perfect especially for the pricing. Mine does great most of the time, but there are days she starts pulling and this is her first service lead. My dog is about 50lbs.Overall, it was a good purchase for me, since I was so overwhelmed which different service leads. I'll post pictures soon. If your dog is smaller this may hold up really well. I'm just not sure how long this is going to hold up (and look decent for me).

I'm 6 feet tall and have a Jack Russell, this leash is to short to even walk with the dog, Leash is well made however take into consideration your height and that of your pet. I wish it had worked but I had to return.

I absolutely love this leash. Many choices for the length of lead you want to give to your dog. Excellent option to replace a regular leash. This will be the last kind of leash I ever try out.I am still working with the dog to learn this leash and the latching it to her vest instead of her collar but she's picking it up quick. We've had it just under a week.Having a service dog and being able to have my hands free while doing anything outside of my home makes me very grateful that I have this option of leash. It's an amazing leash but it would have been nice to choose from other colors. My service dog is always confused for a boy. I purchase almost everything in raspberry pink or purple. (Just an idea.)Having a removable service dog plate would make the leash more versatile to use with other dogs.

I love this leash as it can be clipped closer to you or left a bit longer, so the dog can lay down, as he is trained to do. If I were taller however, he may have trouble laying with the leash on. I am 5"3". I think for most people who are using this for hands free dog walking, it is an excellent choice. If you are using it with a service dog, trained to lay beside/behind you, you should measure to make sure it is long enough to allow your dog to be comfortable and you still be able to move a bit with the dog in a down-stay position.
