It works, has different hooks for different lengths. It's a more heavy that I was hoping for, but it allows me to walk my medium dog (25 pounds) hands free so I recommend.

I have a 5 month old Beagle mix that chases after EVERYTHING. While working on her walking skills (she’s getting better), she escaped from her harness twice in one week. I bought a smaller harness and this leash/belt system. I can’t say enough about the security this gives me when walking her. I like the bungee cord part of the leash as it helps with pulling. I also like the fact there are two handles—one if she needs to be on a shorter leash for control and the regular handle that allows her more freedom. Highly recommend.

I had been using a strap from a tote bag to put around my waist and hook up my dogs. Needless to say, while it worked, it was not the most ideal solution. I didn’t want to spend a fortune on a leash belt so I decided to give this one a try and am glad I did. It’s a very sturdy and well made belt.It has two D-hooks on it so you can hook up multiple dogs. It is well made and unless you’re dog is as strong as a horse, I don’t think it will be able to break this belt. The clip is very tight and locks so it won’t snap open, though it may be a bit too tight as I have a hard time opening it. There is plenty of room for expansion, I put it over my winter coat and there is still room for more expansion if needed.The leash is a nice addition. It has two handles on it to control your dog and is a bungee though it is not very flexible unless your dog is really strong. My dog is 45lb border collie and it doesn’t stretch at all when she pulls on it. Which is fine if you want a short leash to control your dog, but I prefer my flexi leashes so that my dogs have some room to roam.Overall this is a very nice leash belt and is great if you are walking several dogs at one time or want to be hands free whilst walking your dog.

This leash works as expected. I use the belt portion even when my dog is not on the leash portion as a belt with food pouch.When I have the belt on and the leash attached to my dog, he follows as expected. It took him no time at all to learn how to walk this way. It allows both my hands to be free to treat him while I train him for walking.The only thing that would have been better is if there was a metal clip for when I attach it to something in the house. Example, I use the leash to hold him in place when I need to dry his paws, and it would be nice to clip it around a stair post. I have been able to use the end with the handle and clip it to the non padded handle side when necessary so not a show stopper.The strength of the nylon is good and my "chewer" is getting no where with it! The bungee inside is also strong so he cannot get far! :)

I LOVE this waist leash! It is very well made, and has 2 D-rings so I can hook my 3 small dogs to each side to balance their weight! I love the extra handle straps on the leash for extra control and the bungee leash is awesome for easing hand strain if you need to hold the leash. The reviews that said the plastic buckle snap broke, probably had larger dogs. My 3 dogs are 10 lbs each, but pull hard so I still hold the leashes in hands to keep them in check, but the no hands part is great when picking up their dog waste and also for untangling the 3 leashes as the dogs weave in and out when walking. I have 2 dogs on a 2-lead leash on one side and the bungee leash on the other side for the dog that pulls the most. I love that you can clip and I clip the bungee lead on both ends! I also love the zip bag for holding my phone and clean dog waste bags! The waist clip is so tight I had trouble unlocking it at first, so they may have fixed that issue! It also has a locking button! This waist leash is also one of the most widely adjustable sizes as I’m very small and some waist leashes were too big! I highly recommend this leash!
