This book holder is sturdy and well-made, and does an excellent job holding any book you need to support for reading. Easy to keep clean so that it can appropriately be used for something as important as the Quran.

I'm a priest and needed a book holder to use at the altar for my Gospel or Missal. We have a beautiful brass one, but wanted a more humble looking one to use during Lent. I also need it to be collapsible, so I can take it with me when officiating at other venues. This Adjustable Wooden Handmade Book Holder meets all my criteria. Plus, it supports my Gospel or Missal at two different angles, so I can adjust it as needed. It's also beautiful, as the front side of the frame has elaborate hand carvings. The only reason I am deducting a star, is because the support bar was loose and came off shortly after I opened it. It's not a major issue, as I can easily repair it myself with some wood-glue. I highly recommend it to anyone needing a reasonably priced, but beautiful adjustable book holder.
