I use this to switch between my home PC and my work laptop and it is great to have. It comes with a remote that works well, but since it is on my desk I use the button on the front. I have the occasional visual artifact come through, but overall it works great.Very convenient way to switch between two computers.

I ordered this Alxum KVM switch because I needed to swap between my Windows PC and MacBook Pro while keeping the clutter on my desk down. It is built really well and I find the capabilities of the item to be superb. It covers everything I need and more. Unfortunately I can’t really say much about the ability to swap DisplayPort inputs, as my MacBook only has HDMI, and my PC uses DisplayPort, however it has been incredibly useful for swapping my keyboard and mouse between my PC and my MacBook. I used to have to unplug my peripherals and swap cables each time I wanted to swap to and from my different computers, but now the Alxum KVM switch makes it seamless to just keep everything in the same place and keep on using my computers. Soon enough I will even have a multi-monitor setup for using both my PC and MacBook at the same time and look forward to being able to swap between my two computers with the push of a button. The product comes with the KVM switch with DisplayPort inputs, two USB cables, a power plug, and a standalone switch if you don’t want the actual KVM switch to be on your desk. The standalone switch is a really cool addition because it allows me to keep everything hidden and just have a small black switch on my desk that lets me control everything with the push of a button. This product is really great for my use case, so if you are looking for anything to help you increase your productivity or avoid pesky cable swapping for your multi-device setup, this is definitely a good product to consider purchasing.

This works very well! The switch button has adhesive in it so you can stick it under your desk and it's the best switch button I've used so far, it's soft and very satisfying to push and isn't loud or cheap feeling. The KVM has long rubber feet to keep it in place. The lighting for which computer is selected is the same color for each computer which is a missed opportunity but at least the light is subtle and not a very bright blue like most the others.I was very impressed with the USB hub, it worked very nicely with my mouse, keyboard, a web camera streaming and wireless headphones also streaming audio. There was some slight audio switching going on from the speaker to the headset a few times when plugging it in, but I'm unsure if that's because of the KVM or not but once it settled down it seemed steady.It does have to be plugged in to work. While the power block is small, I'm going to replace it with a USB adapter that's plugged into a power source with enough amps, at least it runs off of 5V so I can do that. Overall great KVM, I might get a second one and see about using and 3.5mm jack splitter so I can switch them both with one button.

This item worked as described. I didn’t realize this is ONLY for display port connections. I have that option but don’t like using DP because the windows 11 windows all become un-minimized (can’t think of a better way to describe that). I did hook this up for testing and it worked perfectly fine. I will keep this because I may need it in the future as it seems more and more systems are converting to DP. I work from home and have 3 monitors with 2 computers. One monitor per computer and a shared second monitor. This allows me to switch which system goes in that shared monitor. My company gives us slow computers and I do extensive excel work, it’s nice to switch to the other computer to do web based work while the other is refreshing data. The KVM allows me to do that quickly and not 2 keyboards and 2 mice.

Il prend en charge des résolutions impressionnantes jusqu'à 8K à 60Hz, ce qui est parfait pour les utilisateurs de haute performance ou les configurations de travail nécessitant une qualité d'image maximale.L'installation est très simple grâce aux deux câbles USB et à l'adaptateur d'alimentation inclus. Le contrôleur de bureau permet de basculer facilement entre les deux PC, ce qui est un gain de temps considérable si vous devez travailler sur plusieurs systèmes simultanément. La qualité de construction est robuste et le dispositif fonctionne parfaitement, sans perte de signal ni latence.Je recommande vivement ce KVM Switch pour les professionnels ou les utilisateurs ayant besoin de gérer plusieurs ordinateurs avec une seule station de travail.

Es un hub de una gran calidad, de una dimensiones adecuadas.Los puntos fuertes ha destacar, es la de que esta hecho de alumino, y se nota al tacto y peso.Me ha encantado la facilidad de conexión de los puertos, la calidad de los mismos y la tecnología de estos, se nota en la velocidad de transferencia.Conclusión:Le doy 5 estrellas, por que es un producto de 5 estrellas.

Lo switch fornito da Alxum rappresenta un'ottima soluzione per condividere mouse, tastiera e monitor fino a due PC diversi. I cavi USB inclusi sono davvero robusti e garantiscono un eccellente trasferimento dati, purtroppo non sono inclusi i cavi video. Ho testato il dispositivo su Ubuntu e su Windows 11 senza riscontrare alcun problema. La scocca è realizzata in materiale plastico sottile esteticamente gradevole ed offre un buon feedback al tatto durante l'utilizzo. La selezione del dispositivo avviene mediante la pressione del tastino posto sulla scocca oppure attraverso un tasto supplementare collegabile all'occorrenza, una luce LED mostrerà la corrente selezione. La frequenza di 144Hz, grazie agli ingressi DisplayPort, non va ad abbassare le prestazioni del mio setup, in quanto utilizzo due monitor da 120Hz, risultando la soluzione ideale. Considerando il rapporto qualità/prezzo, le funzionalità offerte e la qualità dei materiali, assegno al prodotto un punteggio di 5 stelle su 5.

Surprisingly, DisplayPort is less common in most KVMs I find online today. HDMI is increasingly common but most productivities monitors are DisplayPort and HDMI and may prioritize the DisplayPort connection by permitting higher bandwidth connections (e.g. high refresh rates or VRR) compared with a low-end HDMI chipset. I've used this on a 4k/60hz monitor and a 1440p/144hz monitor and it excels with both. The USB devices are responsive and switching is fast.

This KVM switch works well for USB 3.0 and efficiently supports both monitor and keyboard, making it ideal for my current setup. Although I wish it featured USB-C or Thunderbolt compatibility, it gets the job done without breaking the bank. I'm pleased with its performance so far and plan to continue using it.

Working perfectly so far, i have it connected to a desktop PC and a laptop dock.It handles my 1440p ultrawide without issues, as well as wired keyboard, wireless mouseComes with all the needed cables to get it connected, well other than an extra display cable, but that's not really expected.I like the extended change switch, lets me tuck the main part under my desk away with nice cable management and have the switch on the desk within easy reach. With multiple changes a day it hasn't missed a beat.Feels well made and really solid, and the cost seems fair.

The KVM switch has a very nice metal body. It has 4 usb ports for peripheral inputs. There is a small button switch on the device for switching between the two display / USB inputs. There is also a nice pressure activated switch that has adhesive and can be mounted somewhere more accessible. This worked well testing with 1080p and 2k displays, but I was not able to test it with a 4k display. Overall this product feels very premium and works well.
