This is my second bottle and pump that I’ve purchased. Neither fit into the hole in the sink. Maybe a stupid question but do I have to pry this part off before installing new?

This is a pretty good soap dispenser.Great way to have longer/larger supply of soap and can easily replace at the bottom of the sink. The metal dispenser looks great. Don't feel cheap at all. Great value for your money.The pump works really well, put out enough soap for the sponge. Installation is very straight forward.What it is missing is maybe a small instruction on how to prime the soap when first installed.So this is what I found works best once you install it1) Make sure to put water into the tube and prime it with water first to get the tube filled. 2) Then put the check valve in to the soap bottle3) pull the pump out of the base4) start pumping/primingThe water will make the priming stage faster as gravity pulls the thicker soap out of the bottle.I read other reviews from a similar product and everyone main complaint is about priming the soap and it takes too long.The tube is large enough and once primed, the soap come out in a good amount.

So far so good. I installed it in place of a manual pump that never worked quite right. It has a nice finish, easy to understand I stalation without even having to look at a manual, and customizable options for sensitivity and amount dispensed. I took a chance bc it had no reviews and glad I did!
