USB Hub Binding Mode
A feature that allows the user to lock the USB HUB on the KVM to a specific computer. By doing so, the peripherals are connected to the USB HUB. These include webcams, mics, printers, and external drives. They are accessible only to that computer. This setup provides seamless peripheral access. This binding keeps sensitive info on the designated computer. It's not shared between multiple computers connected to the KVM switch. It boosts security and streamlines workflow.
Audio/Mic Hub Binding Mode
A feature that allows the user to lock the Audio/Mic Hub on the KVM to a specific computer. This means that any microphone or speakers you plug into those ports will only work with that computer. This is a great unit and worked well. Unfortunately I didnt get to keep it as I needed a higher resolution, but worked as advertised and build quality was top notch compared to others ive tried. Highly recommend.

After a nightmare experience with a KVM unit from another company, finding David at Avico was like a miracle. My needs are simple; like many, I work from home. Work Lenovo PC laptop and new Mac Mini Pro4 home desktop need to share dual monitors and the usual peripherals: keyboard, mouse, webcam, speakers. Pretty basic, right? I'm not an IT guy (or gal) but I'm perfectly capable of following directions to plug cables into ports. The other company recommended and sold me the wrong unit (I'm pretty sure), gave me incorrect and somewhat incoherent installation instructions and then they...disappeared. Poof, gone. No response to multiple pleas for help via email or their website contact form - tellingly, there was no phone number anywhere to be found - crickets.In desperation - this was consuming my life and interfering with work - I searched the internet and found Avico. I reached out to them via their website and wow! Got a response from David that night! A friendly one, at that. We exchanged a couple more emails -- he gave me recommendations, clear instructions, a list of additional adapters with links to order based on my equipment -- basically a full explanation in normal human non-techie English tailored exactly to my needs. So refreshing. Ordered the new unit and adapters, followed the directions when it all arrived 2 days later and in under an hour I was up and running! Master Series keyboard and mouse required a little finagling - Logitech's USB receivers are unnecessarily complicated -- but I was able to figure it out. Now I can just push a button and everything switches over seamlessly - my dream has come true.This has truly revolutionized my work and home computing experience. I cannot say enough good things about this unit and the technical support I received from this company. Thanks again, David!!!

This is the best KVM that I have come across so far. I needed a mechanism to use two monitors with two laptops simultaneously with seamless switching from one to another. I have used a couple of other brands in the past all without a satisfactory output - either the switching would fail, or the connected equipment would fail to be detected. In the end I resorted to manually switching the cables which was a real pain. After having seen a few review videos online, I ordered this unit although with some trepidation. I did have to wait a few weeks as the product was on back order. Once received, the setup was a breeze and all the peripherals responded properly and the switching between the two laptops has never been easier. I have been using this for little over a month now. Did I mention this is the smallest of all the KVMs I have come across? Highly recommended.

I cannot get the hotkeys to work. Please help! It is saying "Screen Lock, Screen Lock, 1 or 2". That does not do anything. Please help! Also how to turn off the annoying bleep when it switches, why is this even there very annoying.

Not much else to say except this thing delivers. Quick, easy switching with low delay and no wonky window configuration or sound issues. My external hard drive is instantly recognized and works seamlessly with both computers and my wireless keyboard mouse combo is lag-free with no dropout like some of the other KVMs I've tried. It also doesn't need the most premium cables to work reliably: my setup is a mish mash of hodge-podge leftovers I've kept in boxes over the years (including a DP to HDMI adapter) and this KVM literally doesn't care. It's too busy churning out everything seamlessly as though its all organic.Don't get me started on being able to bind audio and keyboard/mouse to a certain machine while using video on the other.At nearly $300, this is definitely one of the more expensive options for a dual-head, two port system, but it is worth every penny. So much so that I've decided to use it with my three total systems with some minor cable switching between laptops because I know this Avico will handle it.Avico: if you ever decide to make a three port dual head version of this KVM, hit me up :D

The product works great. I needed a little help getting it connected properly and David was helpful and available for me. Other products had reviews that their KVMs were “glitchy”, but this one works flawlessly. If you’re looking to connect through a KVM both a Mac and a PC, this is the unit!
