My wife needed these boxes to move a multitude of document she will never look at again. The boxes are built solidly. They did what they needed to do.

Possibly there are better such boxes. If so, I want to hear about them. These exceeded expectations.

I have a personal “library,” and needed to move a LOT of books. Books are heavy and need to be packed in small batches in order to be a reasonable weight for a normal person to carry, so I ordered multiple 20-packs of the heavy-duty Banker Boxes and they have been a great solution. The boxes and lids are quite strong. You can pack about 15 to 30 books per box depending on the size and weight of the books, and they can be stacked up to 3 boxes high in storage (more than that may be too much weight on the lower boxes). I had to order a lot of boxes and it may be expensive, but it has been very convenient.I hope you never have to move your book collection (LOL) but if you do, this is the easy way.

I've been inventoriing my stuff in my house, and some of my stuff is extraordinary stuff. Hard to find stuff. Stuff I really care about, so I usually don't bother with weak kneed boxes you can't pack full and stack at least five high. Other boxes are cheaply made with obvious cuts in strength or corner integrity. Not these. I have some that are practically heirlooms because of how sturdy they are. I found that if I make lists of what's in the boxes and number them, I can then use my phone to photograph the numbered lists, which makes it 500% easier to find that one thing I put away last month. These boxes are key to the continual review of what I'm keeping vs what needs to find new homes.

Delivered early, which was great. However, the shipper claimed they were signed for by someone with my initials at a time when no one was home. That's kind of disturbing.

These boxes are THE boxes for me. High quality, the perfect size, and great for long-term storage. Easy construction, too.

I bought some of these so we could move books. Granted, I packed them full so there wasn't a lot of room for them to slump, none the less I managed to stack them six high with the bottom box unaffected by easily 300 pounds of books atop it. In fact, they survived the move that way too, and are now in my garage, and still show no signs of wearing out. I would definitely buy these again if I needed a sturdy box with handle holes. The lids fit tightly and perfectly.

We used these boxes to move my son's huge cookbook collection from one house to another. We didn't experience any box failures. They are quick and easy to assemble and can take a beating. Well worth the price we paid for them!

The quality seems good. However, I received 11 lids for 12 boxes.

I am moving at the end of the month, and I needed some solid, stackable, boxes to store 3 file cabinets worth of records. These boxes are perect! It literally took me 20-30 seconds to put each box together, and another 20-30 seconds to put each lid together. Once assembled, I packed them to capacity with folders and files, and then stacked them 3 high (I could have actually stacked them 4 or 5 high, but I have the space, so I figured I wouldn't push it).At the end of the day, these weren't that much more expensive than regular old packing boxes you can get at Home Depot or Lowe's, and they are much more suitable for storage of files and folders. They are shaped perfectly, so you can store letter size files if you place them in one direction, or legal size files if you place them in the other direction. I did find cheaper Banker's Boxes elesewhere, but.......they were not the max strength kind. They were the "light duty" kind, where stacking is not recommended.Overall, if you need reliable record storage, you will like these boxes. One thing to note....while the boxes fit letter or legal size folders perfectly, you cannot store hanging folders. They are too wide. I was fine with that, because I just threw all the empty hanging folders into a larger packing box. If you want a complete portable storage solution where you can place the hanging folder and the actual folder containing your papers, then you'll need to get one of those plastic file cabinets that can accommodate the hanging folders. I looked at those, but they are smaller, twice as expensive, and not stackable. I might use one of those if I had a few folders I needed to carry around with me on a regular basis, but for moving, or more permanet storage, I think the Banker's Boxes are more suitable.
