Works great. Configured itself easily on my windows 11 machine. I am using it for engineering work on my laptop where I have to communicate to multiple devices on different TCP/IP networks that are on physically different networks . I configure the network interface for 'multihoming' (Google it) which allows me to configure my PC with multiple IP address matching each physical network. No more using multiple USB/Ethernet adapters. If it had a couple of extra USB ports this thing would be perfect!

Works great. Note that it is unmanaged and only appears as a single network interface.

I got this little switch to extend some networking capability in a small server rack. It worked great as I didn't have any free power outlets for a traditional switch and POE was not possible. Keep in mind that if you need a USB powered switch like this, it also acts as a network interface over the USB connection. For my use case, I didn't want to plug it into server and then for it to get another NIC, so I used a USB port that didn't have data capabilities.

Excellent product! This is the only USB powered ethernet switch I have seen that does not require a seperate ethernet cable to connect to your PC! Brilliant!

Not sure if it’s a one off or not. But I have one of these and it works perfect. This one caused a significant decrease in speed via my eithernet connection. Sending back.

I used this to add a second POS cash register at the bar. (Business has been good.) All I needed was 3 ethernet ports to make it work. I needed an ethernet switch that was USB powered. This device plugs into one of the spare USB ports on the first cash register. The device is small enough to mount out of site. It works just fine with no unsightly clutter. Note: The USB on the device will only power the device. It will not communicate with the cash register. You still need to ethernet from the device to the POS register.

Or really any portable use. I haven't tested it as a USB ethernet adapter. I have enough of those lying around. What I did was create a wired LAN in my car, using an old or cheap laptop in the trunk and the long range Wi-Fi and mobile antennas to serve the Internet. This was the missing link with the project. The software running functions fantastically as a router. I just needed a network switch that could be powered by battery. When I saw this USB powered thing from an actual reputable brand, I immediately added it to my cart and contemplated how it was going to be worked into my setup. Very easy. I disabled the device in windows to disable its network card functionality and just plugged my existing network card into it and the rest of the devices into the other ports. Pretty much plug and play except for disabling the device in device manager, but that was to tailor it to my needs. I just wanted a dumb networks switch, which this product works very well as. I'm glad products with configurations that think outside the box are available. Because one reason I have this setup, besides saving on cell phone bills(by connecting to Wi-Fi at Long range), I reduce my EMF exposure by not having the device that I'm holding doing the transmitting, given that I travel and work with my devices all day. Not to mention that I run a cache proxy and DNS server, which can reduce what needs to be fetched from the Internet and is just fed directly over the wire.

I needed to have an Ethernet switch that was usb powered to use for my TV. I have 3 wall outlets which are occupied by the TV, sound bar, and Apple TV. I was able to plug this switch into the 2nd usb port on the TV and it has worked wonders. With the WiFi I was getting around 90 mbps. With this switch I’m pulling in over 650 mbps. It was super easy to install and came with sticky pads that made it a cinch to mount on the back of my TV. It’s very small, lightweight, and has a low profile. I may buy more in the future if needed. Great product!

I had and issue with my wifi in in my bedroom and added an ethernet cable to supply my Shield TV. I needed to add a switch without adding another power adapter to the back. This was the answer! A few extra cables and all my devices are now wired into my network. Ethernet in 1Gb connection - Nintendo Switch - via USB, LG TV 100Mb, Verizon Fios Box 100Mb , and Shield TV 1Gb all working great.Setup was simple and bandwidth test provided GB speeds on supported devices.A little more expensive than a regular switch but worth it for the use case.I'll follow up for a long term review when I move next year.

This switch is the first thing in a long time that is under advertised. It is actually 5 switch, because the usb power becomes one of the switches when it is plugged into a computer (ethernet over USB or usb adapter), so when its plugged into a pc, the PC is already connected to the 4 ethernet ports.Convenient not to have to have a separate power cord. Very good for a tech on the go.
