Dropped right in in my 1989 Camaro with the 2.8 V6, it did show up black though and the car is red so I was wanting it to be red.

The product seems to be of good quality, I will know in a few weeks when it is installed. The only small disappointment is that I would have liked the red distributor cap as in the images on the website

I put this in a 1985 Pontiac Fiero 2.8 V6. It performed perfectly out of the box.

The distributor fit and works great. However I am highly disappointed that it DID NOT come with the red cap as indicated in the photo. My entire engine is all red with black highlights and I chose this one almost solely because it came with a red cap. So the part works great but the advertising is shifty.

Fit perfectly in our 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT and had been working flawlessly, and then not even 500 miles on the car and the ignition modeled died. The car would turnover but wouldn't start. I knew it was an ignition issue, because there was no spark. I replaced the ignition coil, which was original to the car and nothing. I thought no way could it be the new distributor, but it was. The distributor is great, but be prepared because the electrical components are crap. So I can't recommend this product, sorry.
