First off, I got a blue one instead of the green one pictured. It's kind of cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Not so great for dishes. Bristles are extremely stiff. It's durable alright. It seems almost as stiff and tough as a grout brush. This would work well scrubbing a tile bathroom floor but not dishes.
