I like the fabric unfortunately just the day before the event I opened just to realized it was sawed wrong there was no way this could be wore. I had to look online and meet a person 1 hour away to buy a used outfit for the event.

I ordered this for my son's wax museum project and I couldn't be happier. It fit him perfectly and had everything needed for a perfect costume. This mama who's not crafty is grateful to be able to order things like this!

This was for a school report on Paul Revere. It fit well and he ended up using it for Halloween trick or treating as well.

The pieces are simply made, but my son has worn it maybe 100 times. It is stained now, but he wears it all the time. Wish it could have come in larger sized. Son videotapes himself as a patriot during the American Revolution.

I bought this costume for my son's school report on Paul Revere. My son is 9 1/2 and slender and this youth medium fit perfectly, though the vest was a little short so I made sure to put a shirt underneath the vest so his stomach didn't show. I paired it with white knee socks and added the lantern. I would have given it a 5 (for looks) except for a button that was loose in the package so I had to sew that on and after washing I noticed another was loose. Also the hat is of no use, it is, as other reviewers have stated, all mashed up and really not useable so I picked up a pirate trifold hat at Party City. They should remove the hat and lower the price. Overall though, got great compliments on it, it looked fantastic and he was comfortable to wear it all day! Hoping it still fits for Halloween!

We loved it! My 11 year old wanted to be Hamilton for Halloween. She is petite but curvy and the XL fit perfectly (with leggings and shirt underneath). We didnt use the hat or shoe buckles, but can tell you that the hat was pretty much useless. The rest was great! She lit right up when she put it on. Awesome for the price! Made better than expected.

This worked PERFECT as a pirate costume for my daughter in a play!! She is a size 14/XL girls size with a tall/thin build. The knickers and coat fit perfect. The hat fits really anyone as it's a stretchy material. The shoe "buckles" are cute and are just material with elastic on them and can fit even over an adult boot (boots made it more pirate-y). The buttons on the blue coat are just screen print but look realistic on stage and does not detract from the overall look ("real" ones could be sewn on). Side Note: for a "pirate" look, we just turned around the hat and added a "skull/cross bones" cut out to it with Velcro. This costume could be used in a versatile way.
